Welcome to Playmate. By accessing or using our mobile application and website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Playmate in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms that may apply. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Playmate. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian. By using the app, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Keep your login credentials secure and do not share them
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate another person

4. Booking & Payments

Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only after successful payment. You will receive a confirmation notification and QR code for check-in at the venue.

Pricing: Turf pricing is set by individual turf owners. Playmate displays these prices transparently but does not control or guarantee pricing accuracy.

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service.

Service Fees: Playmate may charge a convenience fee on bookings. Any applicable fees will be clearly displayed before you confirm your booking.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation policies may vary by turf and are displayed at the time of booking. General guidelines:

  • Cancellations made 24+ hours before the booking time are eligible for a full refund
  • Cancellations made 6-24 hours before may receive a partial refund (50%)
  • Cancellations made less than 6 hours before are generally non-refundable
  • No-shows are not eligible for refunds
  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method

Turf owners may have their own cancellation terms which will be communicated at the time of booking.

6. For Turf Owners

Turf owners who partner with Playmate agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about their facilities, amenities, and availability
  • Honor confirmed bookings made through the platform
  • Maintain the quality and safety standards of their venue
  • Respond promptly to booking requests and customer inquiries
  • Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations

Playmate reserves the right to remove any turf listing that consistently receives negative reviews or violates these terms.

7. User Conduct

When using Playmate, you agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
  • Submit false reviews, ratings, or misleading information
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or turf owners
  • Attempt to circumvent payments or exploit the booking system
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the application
  • Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the platform

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Playmate — including but not limited to the logo, design, text, graphics, icons, and software — is the intellectual property of Playmate and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the platform without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

Playmate acts as a platform connecting players with turf owners. We are not responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, or condition of any listed turf or facility
  • Injuries, accidents, or losses occurring at booked venues
  • Disputes between players and turf owners
  • Service interruptions due to technical issues or force majeure events

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of Playmate shall not exceed the amount you paid through the platform in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the platform or other users. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting support.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Playmate after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
